Laina Mills Joins Catholic Charities West Michigan Board of Directors

Legacy Trust Senior Portfolio Manager Laina Mills has joined the Board of Directors of Catholic Charities West Michigan (CCWM). Mills will serve a three-year term on the Board of Directors.

Catholic Charities West Michigan offers a broad range of social service programs to residents of 11 counties in West Michigan. Last year CCWM served more than 26,000 individuals, focusing on the needs of children and families.

In her role at Legacy Trust, Mills provides leadership in the development and execution of the company’s investment philosophy and strategies, including recommendations pertaining to asset allocation, investment policy design, and all third-party advisor engagements. She also manages key client relationships directly, customizing the overall company strategy for individual and family office client portfolios and their personal wealth management goals. Mills portfolio planning expertise and service-oriented approach help clients amplify their personal and professional success.

Mills has been active in the Catholic community for almost a decade. She previously served as a Program & Finance Committee Member at Catholic Charities West Michigan before joining the Board of Directors. She is active is the Music Ministry at St. Robert of Newminster Parish in Ada, as well as a Chorus Member with the Grand Rapids Symphony.  Mills also serves as an Investment Committee Member at St. Cecilia Music Center, and is a member of the Economic Club of Grand Rapids.
