Our team had the privilege of volunteering with Kent County Parks at the beautiful Millennium Park, focusing on protecting the park’s natural habitat by controlling invasive species.
With guidance from Jessie at Kent County Parks, we learned how to identify and treat the Tree of Heaven, an aggressive invasive tree. Using hatchets and herbicide, we worked to stop its spread and support the health of the park’s ecosystem.
It was a gorgeous fall day and perfect weather for giving back to our community and spending time outdoors. We’re proud to play a small part in preserving the natural beauty of West Michigan.
